Savory Waffles
Waffles do not always have to be paired with sweet foods. These savory waffles were amazing and I think I may enjoy them more than the sweet waffle flavors, well sometimes.
These waffles are super easy and they can be paired with many other ingredients to make them as savory as you want them!
I love vegetables, so these flavors were the perfect pairing with the broccoli!
You can add other vegetables and even meats, such as sausage, bacon or any other breakfast items you think would taste great with savory flavors! You can top it with lots of items: Avocado, Salsa, Hot Sauce, Dressings, and so much more! It is delicious!
Savory Waffles
(Serving Size: 1)
Ingredients
2 Eggs
1 Tbsp of Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp of Psyllium Husk Powder
1/4 C of Water
Broccoli, cooked and chopped
Seasonings:
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Turmeric
Salt
Oregano
Parsley
Paprika
1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil (for drizzling over the waffles) - optional
Directions
Heat a waffle iron.
Mix the first four ingredients together.
Add the seasonings and continue to mix.
Add in broccoli or other vegetables.
Pour batter into the waffle iron.
Top with Coconut oil and more seasonings, and enjoy!
