Homemade Shredded Chicken

Making shredded chicken is one of the easiest ways to cook chicken breast or tenderloins.

Shredded chicken is a ready-made protein that can be used to create so many different recipes:

  • Chicken Salad

  • Pulled Chicken

  • Chicken Chili

  • Shredded Chicken Tacos

  • Toppings for Salads, Zoodles and etc.

Shredded Chicken (4-6 Cups)

Cook Time: 6 Hours

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 Chicken Breast, Frozen or Fresh (Thawed if frozen)

  • Water

  • Salt and Pepper (you can use other seasonings if you choose to)

  • Crock-pot

Directions

  1. Place chicken breast in the crock-pot.

  2. Fill the crock-pot with water just enough so that every chicken breast is covered.

  3. Sprinkle Salt and Pepper on top.

  4. Place crock-pot on high and cook chicken for 6 hours, or until it falls a part.
