Whole 30 Waffles {2 Ways}

If you are craving something sweet for breakfast, or you just simply love waffles, then I have the perfect recipe! These were very easy to make and could be made ahead of time for an easy grab-and-go breakfast item. Just pop them in the toaster oven and breakfast is made.

These waffles could also be made into a savory treat. You can mix or top it with vegetables, meats and pretty much anything you want for breakfast. They would go with anything!

Waffles (Serving Size: 1)

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil (or other flavored oil depending on taste)

  • 1 Tbsp of Chia Seeds (helps thicken the batter)

  • Spices (of your choice)

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

  • Ginger

  • Toppings (your choice):

  • Unsweetened Coconut

  • Coconut Butter

  • Almond Butter

  • Syrup or Honey are also good options if you are not following a strict whole 30.

  • Fruit

  • Nuts

  • Vegetables (if going savory)

  • Waffle Maker

Fluffy Waffles (Serving Size 1)

These waffles can be made exactly like the ones above and topped exactly the same, but if you are looking for a different flavor or a fluffier texture, then here is the perfect waffle recipe for you!!

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Tbsp of Chia Seeds

  • 1 Tbsp Psyllium Husk Powder

  • Spices of your choice

  • 1 Tbsp Almond Milk

Directions

  1. Spray and heat a waffler maker.

  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Pour the mix evenly in the waffle maker.

  4. Cook until the perfect waffle is made.

  5. Heat your choice of "syrup" or simply spread it over the waffle.

  6. Enjoy!

Notes:

There are plenty of ways to add your own twist to these waffles. For example, you could mash a banana and throw in almonds.
