#Bulletproofcoffee

For my first blog post, I am going to share my Bullet Proof Coffee Recipe. I often get asked what I put in it, what are my ratio's for each ingredient and how do I get it so frothy like a latte!

What I do is simple and delicious, and I hope it helps you!

Bullet Proof Coffee:

Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 Cups of Brewed Hot Coffee

  • 2 oz of Unsweetened Almond Milk (or Milk of choice)

  • 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil

  • 1 Tsp of Ghee (Optional)

  • Spices or Flavors (if wanted):

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

  • Ginger

  • Pumpkin Pie Spice

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Vanilla Extract

  • Turmeric

  • Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. Warm the Almond Milk (or milk of choice), Coconut Oil and Ghee (if used).

  2. Place all ingredients into a blender (I use the Magic Bullet, but any other small blender will work).

  3. Blend until the ingredients are mixed and you have a frothy top similar to a Starbucks latte.

Notes: I do not always use Ghee because it does change the taste of the coffee. When I am in need of extra fat, I will add in the ghee. It gives the coffee a buttery flavor, which is delicious, but sometimes too much. Make sure to add in spices or more milk to get the flavor you want!
